Our workforce

At JSES Ltd we are passionate about the work we undertake, and put the client at the heart of all we do. We are committed to providing a first class service, and believe this can be achieved by valuing not only the client but also our team.  Training is critical to us to providing a highly skilled, competent and committed workforce. All operatives are JSES Ltd employees which ensures they are trained to the very high standard required.  Operatives hold a raft of job relevant training qualifications, eg.:

• Approved Working on Earthing Systems
• National Grid Competent Person/Person
• BESC (Substations)
• City & Guilds NVQs
• NPORS operators including H & S and covering many categories from small tools to large plant
• Northern Power Grid Certificate
• CSCS Health, Safety & Environment.
• Welder Approval Certificates
• NRSWA Supervisor/Operator
• NEBOSH (Louis Stead)

Training needs are reviewed throughout the year and all qualifications adhere to renewal cycles to ensure learning and skills are kept up to date.

In addition operatives have undergone Criminal Conviction clearance through Disclosure Scotland and hold certificates such as first aid and drugs and alcohol testing.
